Y newsy update.
So I haven't been updating in a while. But it's time to get back on track. Just a little update on what's going on. I'm working again. Yes finally i know. This time it's at OCBC bank. The work can get a little monotonous at times, but the people are really nice and it helps to make the workplace more interesting. The funny thing is that I feel like I've finally found a job where I don't mind considering a long term commitment. Though it's not really my "perfect job", but it's definitely worth a try. I'll just have to see how it goes.
There were quite a few birthdays that went past, but the one I want to mention first is Elke's because I forgot to wish her. I'm so sorry babe! Here's a really belated happy birthday to you! By the way, I didn't have the chance to mention this to you at DXO, but I absolutely love your bf's hair! It's so cool! You two look really good together! Hehe.
Sujuan and Jacqui's birthdays went by too and despite the absolutely horrid service at the japanese restaurant, it was still a crazy night if I might say so. Hehe. It's been a while babes and it's Oon's birthday next. Yay! Speaking of which, you still owe me the photos from your 23rd birthday!!!
Not forgetting, there was Father's Day in June and we checked out The Club St. Brasserie. The caesar salad and desserts were nice, but I can't say much about the spaghetti. The pub area looked really cozy though, so you might want to check it out. For my sister's birthday, we went back to the same chinese place as my brother's birthday. Had some of the same stuff, but no quail! According to the waitress, the quails weren't "pretty" that day so she didn't recommend ordering that. Lols. Oh but it's so sad because the restaurant is closing down or actually I think might have already closed down by now! *sobz* Looks like we'll have to hunt for another nice chinese restaurant. ><
Ok enough about birthdays. So I haven't really been shopping much, unless you count the $500 worth of clothes, but that was in May! Then again I did add 3 pairs of shoes, 2 tokidoki bags, lots of stationery and who knows what other little knick knacks to my stash. Okok so I have been shopping, but I do want to get a new digital camera as well. Any suggestions?
Oh and to clarify, one of the tokidoki bags was a gift from a special someone. Speaking of which, I heard that a special someone is coming back to Singapore for a visit. Please please let me know when, if not I might be in the US when you're here. Unfortunately, I also heard that another special someone is going overseas. Sigh.
