Y cny dinner.
My brother's being fussy and doesn't want to go to Shangri-La's The Line. He wants to go back to Min Jiang, but my dad's not sure if they'll be open. Plus we had that for his birthday dinner so I think he wants to have something different. Well looks like we need to find a good restaurant that will be open on the first day of Chinese New Year for dinner. Any suggestions anyone? It doesn't necessarily need to be a Chinese restaurant. Just as long as the food is great! Hehe.

Y 2007.
Just finished a glass of white wine and Toa Payoh's famous chicken rice (yummy yummy!) and I'm feeling nice and full, so let me get started. Looking back, 2007 went by in a flash. Well somehow a lot of it wasn't very pleasant, but there were the tiny moments of joy. Speaking of which, it's about time I posted all the long overdue photos from last year. Forgive my procrastination. Hehe.
Casual Friday and my colleagues and I were indulging in a little Starbuck's treat. This is actually a photo of a polaroid thus the blurry image.
A surprise bouquet of pink and white roses. How gorgeous is that! I absolutely love flowers. Temporary but yet so beautiful and they never fail to cheer me up.
Back to Min Jiang at Rochester Park for Daddy's birthday dinner.
Chef's Platter which costs $20ish per plate but oh so good! Crunchy, juicy at the right times and so full of flavour. Definitely worth it!
He turned 50. Doesn't look like it yeah. I've got a hip dad. Hee~
My brother rebonded his fringe. -.- But oh well I can understand why. There's this family gene for some parts of your hair (like the fringe) to have a natural curl and it gets rather disgusting at times.
A Saturday afternoon trip to Orchard with my colleagues. The guys actually helped us take a photo, but it wasn't really nice. So we decided let's just do it ourselves and tada!
Clubbing with the babes over the Deepavali public holiday. Not a very nice shot of us but who cares. We were having too much fun! Hehe.

Oo I love this photo! Despite the bad lighting, it turned out rather nice. First photo after getting my curls done. My hair looks so much better here compared to the previous photos. But guess what, someone said that I look like an ah lian coz of it. Duh. -.- Oh well, think I'll stick to curls for now. It suits me better than straight hair. After all, being feminine is more of my thing. Hee~
My sis couldn't join us coz she was in Japan for training. Too bad. She would have ordered loads of ebi tempura. That's like the only time she'll ever eat prawns.
This photo was actually taken in 2006, a little Christmas gathering at my place. It's been a year but I still miss that group of friends. A sad reminder of the value of true friendship.Okay there should be more photos, but I'm waiting for my lovely babes to pass them over. So hang tight till then yeah. I haven't made up my mind as to whether 2007 was a good or bad year or maybe it was neither. Hmm... but it was definitely one of the years where I cried the most. Still, that might not necessarily make it a bad year. Well it's 2008 already and a friend asked what my new year's resolutions are and the thing is, I haven't really thought about it at all. Perhaps I was too caught up in everything to even remember. So let me think about it and post soon yeah. By the way, what are your resolutions?
